YOU SAVED MY LIFE tells the story of people who have been in a life or death situation and have been saved by a stranger … an ordinary person who risked their life to save another’s.

When a person takes the extraordinary step of risking their own life to save that of another, often the two are bonded forever.  Inevitably, that moment when they were forever bonded has passed and life goes on. That is until now, as You Saved My Life brings together the rescued and the rescuer in a surprise reunion on the very spot where their remarkable bond was forged.

The storyteller – along with hosts Tara Brown and Andrew Rochford - relives the horror, the emotion and the elation - right in the very spot where it all happened.

After meeting the person, You Saved My Life follows the story of the actual incident, through the person’s own words, news archive, and carefully constructed dramatizations.

These ordinary people have been part of extraordinary situations and came on You Saved My Life to tell their story –not knowing that they were about to be reunited with the person who saved them, or the person they saved.  Even more extraordinary were the stories where the rescued person didn’t know  - until now – who actually saved them.
