Legend becomes reality in the ultimate test of survival as teams of castaways battle it out in search of the missing treasure on an uninhabited Pacific Island. Now in it’s 9th series, Treasure Island is New Zealand’s longest running and most successful reality game show, rating No 1 in New Zealand, Australia and Ireland.

We’re back in the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, in a remote corner of the islands of Fiji – for a whole new Treasure Island challenge.

The 12 contestants are familiar faces from the worlds of entertainment, sport and television – both nationally and internationally.  

Split into two villages of three men and three women each, the teams compete in mental and physical challenges each day to win food and privileges, to survive in the harsh pirate environment and to avoid elimination from the game.

They’re all expecting to play the game of a lifetime – a game where they must rely on each other one day and betray each other the next, but they have no idea what they are letting themselves in for …in fact they probably think they are the only ones playing this game, as this year Treasure Island takes a twist like no other.
