They're beautiful. They're popular.There's $100,000 cash to be won!    Miss Popularity features 10 real “beauty pageant” contestants who are the finalists in a competition to find the ultimate Kiwi chick.   The ultimate Miss Popularity will be street smart, gorgeous, ambitious, have tons of personality, be as good in the kitchen as she is in the back yard – and willing to give anything a go!  What the 10 finalists don’t know at the start of their three-week adventure is that a huge cash prize and the title of Miss Popularity are real – but that’s about it!  It is revealed that the promise of international travel means being dumped in a small Australian Outback town – where they’ll live with local families.   

Once there, they will soon learn that good looks alone will not be nearly enough to win them the Miss Popularity crown and cash – because the “judges” who will decide their fate are the Australian locals they are living among … and in this town being simply beautiful just won’t cut the mustard! It’s what’s on the inside that counts!  To impress the locals they must face a series of challenges that would shake even the Crocodile Hunter – and in which there are fabulous prizes at stake.

Miss Popularity follows the adventures of the 10 women as they try to win over these small-town Aussies – not with what’s on the outside, but with what’s on the inside.  And they’ll have to stay on their toes, because every two days the locals will choose who leaves town and kisses good-bye to her dream of winning the Miss Popularity crown and the chance at the cash prize.    The locals, too, have the chance to win more than just the hearts of the contestants … one of them will also receive a huge cash windfall.
