About the show

Recorded in front of a live studio audience, Mike King is a hilariously funny and topical new talk & entertainment show.  

There'll be daredevil stunts, outrageous acts, a hot lineup of local and international celebrity guests, hilarious audience antics and of course, the priceless gags and witty one-liners of the stand-up comedian and star of Game Of Two Halves himself.  

And in this show, it's not just the host that asks the questions – the guests will be primed to give as good as they get! 

Under the weekly theme "How Kiwi Is That?" Mike sets out to show that New Zealanders are as mad as can be when it comes to pushing themselves to the limits of everything, from human endurance to good taste! Each week Kiwis will be showing their talents in some of the most unusual acts on earth. You simply won't believe what some people can do! 

Viewers will also have the chance to join in the mayhem – sending in anything from Kiwiana objects to practical jokes that Mike can play out. 

In each episode, Mike is joined by former True Bliss singer and Celebrity Treasure Island star Joe Cotton – who’ll oversee a challenge undertaken by a celebrity or ordinary viewer.  Tune into watch Mike King at his hilarious best.
