About the show

Six young city women – sexy and single – head deep into the farm belt of New Zealand with one mission in mind … to find a country husband!  

For two weeks they will live in a small farming town which has a shortage of single women – in a serious husband hunt with the prize of a lavish wedding at the end for the winner.  

Not only must they live in the town, but they must learn all the skills expected of a country wife – including shearing, cattle driving, tractor-driving, square dancing, quiltmaking and home cooking.  

A hidden camera relays pictures from the local bar to the women to help give them an insight into the local men and make their choice. Then they must begin their pursuit of a husband – all under the watchful eye of the television cameras.
