About the show

Mitre 10 DIY Rescue will be back on the road again in 2005 for a fabulous fifth series of rescuing the woebegone wives whose hammer-happy husbands have turned their homes into DIY disasters.  

This time the show will have five hunky builders looking to add a straight eye to DIY and rolling into town on our monster DIY Rescue truck to save women at their wits end from their DIY disaster partners.  

Each week the team and the homeowners have just four days and a limited budget to break out the paint rollers and power tools for their renovation of a lifetime – revamping tired interiors and transforming the outdoors.
